A_DetectedMedicationIssue universal
The DetectedMedicationIssue CMET provides details about potential problems or warnings associated with the dispensing of a drug. No text representation is provided.
The alert type code and value are specified and supported with the instantiation (time range that the alert applies over), the severity, the alert management approach and the reason the alert was tripped (e.g. the product they have a contraindication to or a pharmacy with which they have a supply problem).
Walkthrough:
The DetectedIssue is the focus of the CMET. The code identifies the type of issue that was detected, The 'value' identifies the specific issue detected. Associated with the issue may be an indication of the issue severity (SeverityObservation.value). It may also indicate when the 'type' of alert was last updated (i.e. when the knowledge-base rule that identified the issue was last changed).
The details of the interacting element are identified as the 'reason' for the issue. This might be a drug, a supply action, or both.
Finally, the issue might be managed, with the specific management action identified by Management.code, and the managing pharmacist identified by ProviderRole.id
